State-of-the-art Technology

The GARBÍ 150/28 and GARBÍ 200/28 wind turbines combine the latest advances in wind technology along with state-of-the-art design methods.

The end result is a highly reliable product with low maintenance that, along with its innovative control, is capable of obtaining the maximum force of the wind in all operative points. It is based on the well known multi-polar synchronous variable speed technology.

The concept is a multi-pole permanent magnet synchronous generator, a variable blade Pitch system, a Yaw system and a Full Power converter. The power train connects the generator to the aerodynamic rotor using a low-ratio gearbox, so maintenance costs are reduced.

The wind turbine meets all the specific requirements for connecting wind energy generation plants to the grid:

  • Germanischer Lloyd: Guideline for the certification of the wind turbines.
  • PO 12.3 Continuous operation upon voltage dips.
  • IEC 61400-21. Energy Efficiency.
  • EON 50308-2004 (Protection, Design Requirements, Maintenance and Operation).
  • CE Marking.

Electria Wind’s firm commitment in using innovative technology has meant gaining corporate support as well as acknowledgement from professionals and experts in the business, industrial and scientific fields, such as Cartif and Electria.
